The G5 Ion Sputter Coater by GSEM is a compact, easy-to-use, and cost-effective instrument for preparing samples destined for SEM analysis.

Thanks to its fully automatic operation, the G5 handles the main stages of the coating process — vacuum, sputtering, and venting — with a single command. Three preset modes (20, 40, and 60 seconds) make the system particularly intuitive, even for those approaching sample preparation for the first time.

A Perfect Match with NANOS

One of the most compelling pairings is with the NANOS tabletop SEM by Semplor, which we distribute. Together, they offer a compact, fast solution that's easy to integrate into any lab workflow — from coating the most demanding samples to observation under the electron microscope.

Compact by Design

Weighing approximately 8 kg, with a small footprint and an extremely straightforward installation, the G5 sputter coater is ideal even where available space is limited.

A Family Built for Every Lab
GSEM sputter coater family: G5, G10, and G20 ion sputter coaters for SEM sample preparation

For applications requiring more advanced performance or configurations, the range also includes its "bigger siblings," the G10 and G20, designed for more sophisticated coating needs.

A family of sputter coaters engineered to adapt to every level of use — from the compact lab bench to the most specialized SEM applications.
