Ion Sputter Coaters

The Ion Sputtering Coater is an essential pre-treatment equipment for particular samples, that are non-conductive or has got weak conductivity, to be imaged with a  SEM, The Ion Sputter Coater ion sputters on the surface of the  sample  in order to form a metal thin film.

Since the image is distorted due to the accumulation of charged particles on the surface of the non-conductive sample by the electron beam, the sputtering (coating) process must be performed.
