The instrument is equipped with a microchip for a completely renewed electronic control. The device can be equipped with chucks with a diameter between 25 and 90 mm, and can reach a maximum speeds of 150 rps (9,000 revolutions per minute). The last settings used for the ramp and plateau speed are stored permanently, and remain available to the user even after the power has been disconnected. Very responsive instrument, with effective speed control, capable of maintaining a constant speed range, with oscillations of +/- 2 rps. It also allows quick tool start-up times, even with the largest tables.
The main parts of the spin coaters are made of both stainless steel and silicone and non-stick plastic. Common solvents are not harmful. However, the use of alkaline and acid solutions could be problematic.
