Pores are at the heart of TRPS technology: they are the point where the electrical current disruption is measured. Izon pores are unique in terms of adjustability and durability, and as consumables, they can be easily replaced when necessary.

Nanopores

Nanopores (NP) are conical holes created within flexible polyurethane membranes. On the Exoid and qNano instruments, they can be tensioned to optimize the nanopore size in relation to the particles being measured.
There are eleven nanopore sizes, covering an analysis range from 40 nm to 11 μm. You can refer to the specification table in the "Files" section of this page to select the ideal nanopore size for the applications being measured.
