SILVER (Ag) COATED SILICON WAFERS

Substrata offers a full suite of silver coated silicon wafers at affordable prices

All coatings are deposited under high vacuum using electron beam evaporation. Applications include reflectometry, nanotechnology, and AFM applications.

We use a thin titanium adhesion layer between the silicon and silver coating. This adhesion layer is optional and can also be replaced with chromium upon request. All wafers are packaged in a cleanroom environment and shipped in individual wafer carriers.
