ExiSpin™

A-7040

ExiSpin™ is an instrument designed for protocols requiring repetitive vortexing and centrifugation. These operations can be automatically performed using the pre-installed program. Additionally, it can hold up to four 8-strip tubes, allowing not only time savings but also solution mixing for reproducible results. This product is applicable in most research areas using microtubes, including but not limited to clinical molecular diagnostics, biochemistry, and molecular biology.

Fully Automated
Convenient setup through a pre-installed program by entering the time and speed for each spin-mix-spin cycle with the number of repetitions (from 1 to 999 cycles), with selective control of the centrifugation and mixing process of the microtube solution, depending on the sample type.

  • First spin: centrifuge samples to the bottom of the tube

  • Vortexing of samples

  • Second spin: centrifuge the mixed samples to the bottom of the tube

Convenience & High Reproducibility
Optimized protocols provided based on sample type to reduce error rates while maintaining reproducible conditions.
Reduced experimental time due to the ability to simultaneously load four 8-well strips to produce 32 PCR/qPCR mixtures or twelve 1.5 ml microtubes for cell lysis.
Easy replication of saved protocols during power-on by pressing a few buttons.

Economic Efficiency
ExiSpin™ combines both centrifugation and vortex capabilities in a single device, making it very economical since there is no need to purchase two separate instruments. Both rotors for 8-strip PCR tubes and 1.5 ml microcentrifuge tubes are provided, along with those for PCR tubes, reducing the cost of additional accessories.
