All coatings are deposited under high vacuum using electron beam evaporation. Palladium has a high hydrogen adsorption capacity which makes it an excellent material for hydrogen sensing and storage applications. Other applications include medical instrumentation, dentistry, electrical contacts, and jewelry.
We use a thin titanium adhesion layer (2-7 nm) between the substrate and palladium coating. This adhesion layer is optional. Custom sizes and materials can also be fabricated to meet your needs.
Palladium (Pd) Coated Silicon P-type <100>, SSP, Prime Grade
High quality substrates coated with 1000 Å (100 nm) of palladium. All coatings include a 30 Å titanium adhesion layer between the substrate surface and the palladium coating.
