Schaefer SEE is pleased to announce its participation, together with partner Izon Science, at the III Congresso Nazionale della Rete Italiana Core Facilities, taking place on 3–4 September 2026 at the Università degli Studi “G. d'Annunzio” in Chieti, Italy.

At our booth, we will be showcasing Izon's full portfolio for the isolation, purification, and characterization of extracellular vesicles (EVs) and other nanoparticles from biological fluids — from bench-top research scale right up to industrial bioprocessing volumes.

Large-scale isolation and purification

  • qEV Zenco – an automated chromatography system built specifically for qEV columns, offering programmable workflows, real-time monitoring, and (in its Zenco Pro configuration) cGMP-ready features such as audit trails and 21 CFR Part 11-compliant software for regulated environments.
  • qEV DXter – a high-throughput robotic platform that fully automates EV isolation from qEV columns, processing up to 12 qEVoriginal or 24 qEVsingle columns per run in as little as 45–90 minutes.
  • qEV TFF System – a tangential flow filtration system for large-volume sample concentration, clarification, and gentle buffer exchange, processing up to 20 L of input volume.

Smaller-scale and single-particle solutions

  • AFC (Automated Fraction Collector) – bringing automation to bench-top qEV isolation workflows for smaller sample volumes.
  • Exoid and Pulsoid – single-particle characterization platforms delivering high-resolution size, concentration, and zeta potential measurements to validate and optimise isolation and purification workflows.

Together, these instruments form a complete, scalable workflow — from raw biological sample to purified, fully characterized nanoparticle isolate — supporting applications in bioprocessing, extracellular vesicle research, lipid nanoparticle development, and pilot-to-industrial scale-up.

We look forward to meeting researchers and core facility managers from across Italy, and to discussing how the Izon qEV platform can be tailored to their specific isolation and characterization needs.
