Group3, a leading brand on the high precision digital teslameters-gaussmeters field, has just put out a new product, the Digital Teslameter DTM-251. This instrument features a lot of improvements that make it really recommended for researchers and industries looking or a complete instruments, reliable, with an high repeatibility degree, compatible with every Group3 probe.

Moreover, beside the presentation of this new product, the new zealander company announced other twno news, coming in the next weeks:

  1. Firstly the DTM-151 has had a full makeover. It is now inside a much larger full size instrument enclosure. It is exactly the same electronics as the previous model but has a larger display and the DIP Switches that used be house inside the unit are now on the back panel so no need to open the unit at all. Also Group3 has consolidated the RS232 connections to a single D-Sub 9 Way connector thus making it meet the standard. They will also offer an RS232 to USB adaptor for systems without RS232.
  2. Group3 will also be introducing a 3 channel model able to perform 3 axis or 3 channel operations without the need to purchase 3 separate units. Specification is the same as the DTM-133 at this stage because they are able to do better than the competitors at 0.03% for Group3 and no better than 0.05% for others. They will also be offering a much small 3 axis probe holder with built in probes. The 3 channel unit is not able to calculate any vector readings but from what is understandable this is not a prerequisite for these systems.
