Fast Streaming Video, high sensitivity, and unique colour fidelity.
The USB5DPX ,5 Mega Pixel camera, is designed to excel in image quality, sensitivity, colour fidelity and speed. The USB5DPX is designed to produce high-quality images for brightfield, fluorescence and polarized imaging needs.
Sony IMX264 With global shutter technology, all pixels are exposed simultaneously, which allows accurate tracking and capture of dynamic samples and provides, crisp, undistorted, clear images of fast moving specimens.
Ultra-Low noise images
The USB5DPX Microscope camera is built with Sony's newest sensor the Exmortm which is a superior sensor for various reasons, this is due to The Exmortm sensors digitize the pixels before the column signals are multiplexed, thereby minimizing the noise signal significantly compared to standard CMOS sensors.
Smear-free images
The special construction of the Exmortm sensor allows the sensor to produce smear-free images like other CMOS sensors, but without the limited dynamic range and contrast know from traditional CMOS sensors.
Exmor(tm) back-illuminated structure
Sony Exmor back-illuminated structure sensor, is developed with the intention of capturing vivid images even in low light settings. “Exmor ” sensor is approximately twice as sensitive as a conventional front-illuminated CMOS sensor and also features low noise. This is due to back-illuminated CMOS sensor, light is directed onto the silicon substrate from behind, allowing light to be used with a level of efficiency not possible with conventional front-illuminated pixel structures.
Software
The new USB 3.0 DPX cameras will include special software "Capture 2.0" with many features for image acquisition, camera control, even features like image stacking and image stitching are included.
User-friendly Camera
Plug and play – the USB 3.0 interface for ease of installation on any computer and high speed. No need for external power supply, because The USB5DPX Microscope camera uses the included USB cable for power, control and to transmit data.
C-mount
C-mount makes the camera compatible with most microscopes and objectives on the market.
IR filter
The USB5DPX – Microscope camera is made with high quality IR filter which protects the sensor from invisible light and dust. DeltaPix IR-filters are free from scratches and other artefacts, which could potentially degrade the image quality.
