Corrected for linearity and temperature
The new transducer is based around a Hall effect element, but clever electronic processing of the signal corrects for non-linearities and temperature effects, producing a very accurate analog voltage output directly proportional to the magnetic field present. Can be easily connected to one of the Group3 controllers (CNA or DNA) to produce an accurate closed loop control magnet system. Using the HPC as the feedback transducer for magnetic field control greatly increases stability and repeatability.
