Schaefer SEE at the Optical 3D Metrology Workshop in Perugia: Form and Surface Serving Advanced Manufacturing Processes

Schaefer SEE will participate in the university workshop "Optical 3D Metrology – Shape and Surface Measurement for Advanced Manufacturing Processes," promoted by the Department of Engineering at the University of Perugia. The workshop aims to foster integration between scientific research and industrial applications.

During the event, we will present our optical metrology solutions for advanced surface and geometry characterization, including: 

• 3D optical profilometers

• Benchtop and inline systems

• Technologies for analyzing roughness, defects, wear, coatings, and functionalized surfaces

Our solutions, developed in collaboration with key technology partners such as Sensofar and GBS Ilmenau, support applied research activities, production process validation, and the development of new materials for advanced manufacturing.

The workshop represents an important opportunity for exchange among academia, research centers, and industry, promoting technology transfer, innovation, and quality in production processes.
