SynVivo microfluidic chambers are microfluidic chips designed to support a microvascular network that simulates circulation within any tissue, replicating key parameters such as flow, shear stress, and pressure.
These devices enable the development of novel co-culture protocols, establishing vascular monolayers in direct communication with tissue cells while preserving their biological phenotype. Numerous studies have already confirmed that cells grown in SynVivo chips more accurately reflect tissue cells found in the body compared to those cultured using conventional techniques.
In combination with the CytoViva imaging system, the SynVivo system is used to track nanoparticles as they interact with live cells in drug delivery applications.
