We are pleased to announce our participation in the TE4DM – Tissue Engineering for Disease Modelling Workshop, taking place in Rome on 18–19 June and organized under the auspices of the Italian National Bioengineering Group (GNB).

The workshop brings together researchers, clinicians and technology providers working at the forefront of tissue engineering, biofabrication, advanced in vitro models and disease modelling. The scientific programme focuses on the development of increasingly sophisticated biological models that can improve our understanding of disease mechanisms and support the advancement of regenerative medicine and translational research.

Visitors are invited to stop by our booth, where the REG4LIFE bioprinter from REGEMAT 3D will be on display. The system represents a practical example of how advanced biofabrication technologies are enabling researchers to develop increasingly sophisticated tissue models for regenerative medicine and disease modelling applications.

These themes closely align with the technologies offered by our partners Tomocube and REGEMAT 3D, both of whom will be represented during the event.

REGEMAT 3D develops advanced bioprinting platforms that enable researchers to fabricate complex three-dimensional tissue constructs and cellular models. As biofabrication continues to play a growing role in tissue engineering and disease modelling, flexible and reproducible bioprinting technologies are becoming essential tools for the creation of next-generation in vitro systems.

Its technology allows researchers to visualize and quantitatively analyze cells and biological structures without staining or invasive sample preparation, supporting the non-destructive characterization of increasingly complex tissue models.

One of the key messages emerging from the TE4DM programme is the importance of integrating enabling technologies across the entire workflow—from model fabrication to advanced imaging and analysis. In this context, the combination of bioprinting solutions from REGEMAT 3D and label-free 3D imaging technologies from Tomocube reflects the multidisciplinary approach that is driving innovation in tissue engineering and disease modelling.
