Application Fields
The combination of eucentric tilt and EBSD enables a seamless workflow between imaging and crystallographic analysis. Simply tilt the stage to image the sample at either 0° or the 70° EBSD position—without breaking vacuum or repositioning the sample. Throughout tilting, the field of view, working distance, and focus remain stable, allowing areas identified during imaging to be moved directly into the EBSD position without losing the region of interest. This makes switching between imaging and EBSD fast, intuitive, and highly reproducible
